Four women in dresses and cardigans, on the beach. Three are standing on the beach feeding seagulls and looking at the view. One woman is crouched looking at the gulls.
Anne Cornish and friends feeding seagulls at the Dromana beach, Easter 1944. Anne had to bring her friend Wilma home to meet her mother before she could be allowed to go away with her. Anne was 15 at the time. At Dromana they went for midnight hikes. They also invited boys from Scotch College for dinner and cooked them a duck, only to find the boys shoes in the oven where they had put them to dry off.
